1. Be it enacted by the Members of the McG Model Congress
2. of the United States of America in Congress assembled,
3. Section 1. Title
4.Ending Human Trafficking
5. Section 2. Purposes
6. To protect people who are victims of slavery by restricting American trade with countries suspected of engaging in human trafficking
7. To ensure that countries who do sell enslaved peoples are punished accordingly
8. To make sure that if labor is forced upon a person, sufficient compensation must be provided
9. To Provide adequate living resources for former slaves Section 3: Terms and Benefits
10. This bill will create a special division within the Department of Justice to focus on human trafficking.
11. This division will decipher which countries enact slavery and monitor them closely
12. Distinguish between violent and non-violent slavery and sentence them
13. accordingly
14.Conduct intensive research that will show which ways the problem of slavery can
15. best be fixed
16. Raise awareness within the United States about human trafficking
17. Design appropriate consequences for buyers and sellers of slaves
18. Provide sufficient resources for freed slaves
